Joyful Day!
We
have been taking a look at the chakra system during recent classes, and next
week we will focus on the 4th chakra – the heart chakra (how
timely). I think it is only fitting
that the heart chakra is the balance
point between the physical aspects
of the lower 3 chakras and the metaphysical or spiritual aspects of the upper
3 chakras. I believe that if we could
manage to do everything with an open and loving heart, our lives and the
lives of all those around us would experience more balance in every way.
There are many who have written down their thoughts on love and who
have expressed this action much
better than I ever could, so I hope you don’t mind that I share with you here
some of my favorite quotes on the subject.
“Where there is great love, there are always
miracles.” – Willa Cather
“Love
is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.” – Martin Luther King, Jr. “Extending
the reach of our own heart lets us live in the world in ways that embody
greater wisdom and compassion, lovingkindness and equanimity, and ultimately,
the joy inherent in being alive.” – Jon
Kabat-Zinn “When
the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” – Jimi Hendrix “Love
is patient, love is kind. “The
little unremembered acts of kindness and love are the best parts of a
person's life.” – William Wordsworth “Happiness
is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and
gratitude.” – Dennis Waitley “Where there is love there is life.” – Mohandas
K. Gandhi “Love is a choice you make from moment to
moment.” - Barbara De Angelis Love and joy are within our own heart – let the
heart be full. Love fiercely. Love always. May Your Spirit Soar, Margie Join
